Concession policies vary across British racecourses, making it essential to compare the discounts that are and aren’t offered at each racecourse. The table below provides a clear overview to help racegoers assess their options quickly and easily. Where relevant, senior age requirements are also included.
May not apply to all fixtures at a racecourse or for all enclosures, and not all racecourses disclose that they offer a senior / student concession on their website. Senior / student concessions are usually up to £5 off the admission price - check with the racecourse, and most concessions (but not all) are only available at the gate on the day. Proof of age (or student ID) may be required. ARC racecourses now offer discounts to students via the Student Beans scheme
Must have a Student Beans account to qualify for 30% / 50% off the admission price. See the racecourse website for details, or join here: Open a Student Beans Account
Applies to those aged 18 to 24. Register with the Jockey Club here: Race Pass 18-24
All British racecourses offer a complimentary ticket to the carer / personal assistant of a visitor with accessible needs. Some racecourses offer these on the day only, but some require them to be obtained in advance - check with the racecourse. Some form of ID may be required
Free / discounted tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis from their respective websites. They may not apply to all fixtures at a racecourse. There are Quick Links to these websites at the foot of our Homepage
